There's not much good to remember them by for the past decade they have been implementing a global panopticon system etc.

At least in the 1990s and 2000s it felt they were doing some good stuff for humanity. But the 2010s and 2020s the masked pretty much slipped.

Kind of my fear is that the industry and dev community will ignore new frameworks, languages, architectures etc because the LLM aren't trained on those new things.

For example low level converging to Rust, web frontends to something like React etc.

The Russians have been blowing up what ever they want in Ukraine for like 4 years now. Yet Ukrainians are still holding on.

Its well reported in the western press that the US and Europe haven't been able to outproduce the Russian side regarding shells, drones and missiles etc.

You think the US will unleash nuclear holocaust of the human race for some drone parts?

The US will do none of that shit because they wont be able to do it. Given the US is struggling against Iran, couldn't outproduce Russia on the battlefield yet they want to force down China which is an order of magnitude bigger than Russia.

Yeah pretty since the start of the conflict there was talk of companies could use Chinese yuan to get an pass through. It also makes more sense they would use the Chinese yuan the West can track or block those transactions.

Not only that the Chinese Yuan is probably more interesting given they can buy more things with it from China things like consumer tech/products, chemicals and rare earths for weapon systems etc.

Well to this day China is getting Iranian energy. This naval blockade is a relic of a past long gone. When you have eyes in the sky and pin point accurate missiles. The US can't even block or free the straight of Hormuz.

Also China is friendly with Russia they have land border so they can build pipelines.

From my observations, its more the friends that never left rural village we grew up in that have children. My urban friends don't really have children maybe because urban life i stressed but you also have so much stuff to do so maybe kids isn't really a thing one think about, it's more about building up a network.

You do know that in a business environment proof of concept is more a proof of production. Shit doesn't get rewritten when it can at this very moment start generating revenue and profits.

We mourn our craft 6 months ago

Them using excavator and trucks etc to move dirt. Is the same as us using a compiler to compile code into an executable.

LLM would be if the digging and hauling of the dirt happened without any people involved except the planning of logistics.
