I never understand the point of what nationality has to do with ingenuinity or creativity. Seems nothing more than marketing strategy to me. And CRUD does not really mean "poorly build products" either. It's just that - Create, Read, Update, and Delete. That's it.

Most of their engineers are fresh out of college who don't know anything better. Some stay for stocks, while others are just biding their time. At Amazon, you definitely learn a lot - that keeps some people too.
