Yes I've been doing the same in bandcamp. If I find something I like, I click on interesting user thumbnails (in the "have it in their collection" section) and listen to some of their collection or wishlist. If this resonates with me I follow them, check out more music and then can jump right to the next user.
There exists data for websites of groceries in german speaking countries. But I think without location coordinates of each supermarket.

Do you have a solution (with your go-to-tools) to put data with coordinates directly into an interactive map, for example leaflet? That is something I really like (and use extensivly) about datasette respectivly the plugins.
I think the authors quote on the top of the page was potential inspiration of this website https://tools.suckless.org and it's tools. The suckless.org url showed up multiple times in hn-search, but they did not get upvotes like this one. As I understand it's pretty low-level stuff. But I find surf (browser) quite compelling, mostly because of default no-tabs and full screen for less distraction.

great! there is also the python package osmnx[1] to calculate isochrones by yourself. Also check geoff boeing's blog[2]. if you are into geo spatial things.

yes! we will definitely do this in the future for cities worldwide.
The calculation is very easy apply on any city you can find in OSM data artifacts. Will do this in the near future!
