Worth noting Toyota was building hybrid cars long before anyone else - drastically cutting emissions before it was cool....

A little unfair to compare a country 10x the size - I would imagine its a lot easier to run good public transport over a smaller area. That said, Germany does seem to have underinvested in infrastructure a lot in the Merkel era... hopefully something that is being remedied now. The transport network is still amazing overall by global standards, even if it is frustrating for daily commuters.

The trades are made with margin - aka borrowed money. Money borrowed from the broker. The broker runs the risk of being stuck with the bill for the money the lent out if clients cannot pay it back. The key issue is that rh gave margin to people with no clue, and should never have allowed margin trading to these accounts in the first place.

While this is more of the journey to get to the point where you can retire, it would probably make sense to follow some of the advice above from a longer-term perspective, as you are aware you cannot retire off of the amount you currently have. The key to stretching it is reducing your living expenses obviously, and after taking a break finding some form of income to supplement what you already have. Moving somewhere cheaper tends to be top of the list, and could go well hand-in-hand with the taking a break bit.

This is true if your application is running on a shared servers - however if you have fully isolated application and database deploys then you really do benefit from a security and scalability perspective- and by being able to run closer to your clients. I'd also say that it works better when you have 100s, rather than thousands of clients, most probably larger organisations at this point.
