Nord offers OpenVPN configs. Those configs don't seem to allow nat/routing from Nord VPN network?
I never looked into that, but always used Nord VPN via the official OpenVPN client.

Agreed. Compare coffee to having a child. Daycare expenses + everything else, and coffee is a negligible expense, almost a rounding error.

And yet here i am spending 25k / year on childcare for one kid, not including another (now in public school). Two of them = 40-50k/year. And this is one of the cheapest child cares in the area.
What's your responsibility of things go south and the wordpress gets hacked? Do you have liability insurance or any other protections in place?

In my case the error is actually shown. E.g. DNS error when on crappy wifi or even without network.
But then when i connect to a better network, it doesn't get sent.
On my device, when the email fails to send, it gets stuck in an outbox, and no magic incantation is able to retry it.
The only thing that worked was to move the email from outbox to drafts (by editing it) and then sending again.
I wish this got fixed :-)

My kids are 5 and 2. I spend increasing amount of time with the 5 year old. Doing different projects, reading, math, teaching him how to read watch, talking about how stuff works. I don't know if it's less, it's just different.

That's a JOKE. Meant only for people who don't work.
But they also got another levy on taxes for "technology" and "new buildings".
They don't need more money, they just need to better spend the money they have.
Private daycare costs around $2000/month. That's more than tuition on the university ($1000/month or so).
So I just wish that once kids are in preschool age the preschool offered something reasonable
Also, have i mentioned that public preschool is not free? On top of taxes, we pay $400/month or so for 4 days a week, 2.5hrs/day preschool. It's nuts.
Oh, and they insert a random "teacher development days" where preschool is closed. Can't they do development in summer, when the school is closed anyway?

Funny. I would not fly for a trip of 350 miles. Being at the airport early, going through security, checking in luggage, all of those are unpredictable. Most of the time i leave home 3 hours before scheduled flight, it can take 1 hour to get to the airport (depending on traffic, usually 20 minutes), and then all of the above. 3 hours can get me almost 200 miles away, and then I'm left with 150 miles of driving.
Otoh having an established baseline can help understand the efficacy and cost comparison (and time to market), and with new technologies you might want to play it safe?

I kept donating every year for the past several years, but I wonder if I should continue to do so.
As other commenters mentioned, the dark patterns make me reluctant to donate in the future, and this move potentially too.
I own reolink and amcrest cameras. I put them in a vlan with no outside connectivity (and frankly no inside either!). They try to call home constantly :-(

How can an app track activities in other apps? Is it only possible if those other apps use the same tracking networks, or can the app track activities in _any_ other app? How does this work? What can facebook extract today?
(I'm surprised a bit, i thought phones offer app isolation).
The only things that comes to mind is to correlate device ids from different apps if the apps use the same analytics/advertising networks.
