So... it looks like the US has a serious case of pneumonia.

The problem with youtube is that like a search engine it only highlights a tip of the huge of amount of videos they have. You can't filter by tags, you don't have sub categories, the main categories are broad, the search functionality is basic. Sometimes searching a specific video title will give you a whole bunch of video with different titles before you get the one that has a 100% match. It's like being in a library, you know they have what you want, but no one can find it. That's not only true to youtube but to the Apple Store, to iTunes, to Google Play store... I installed an alternative google play store app the other day and was surprised to find how many amazing apps are out there that I had never seen on the Google Play store. It's 2017... give me tools to filter your data!

What's the point of having a new interface that does the same or less as the old interface?

Amazon and ebay are one of the few sites that do it well.

Can't say I have had a bad experience with them... yet. I have only used Angie's list for 1 year, and used 3 companies listed there. All 3 did amazing work. I live in a big city where I get a lot of options, so filtering the bad ones out is not always easy. I never used one of their coupons... just read a lot of the reviews. I like how they break down the review into sub categories. For example, I can be looking for an electrician to install ceiling fans, I can find reviews about exactly that... instead of just finding electricians in general.

But that's their choice, not mine ;)

I never cared too much for privacy, but that's one step too far. Lawmakers probably don't understand how this makes them a target, and how their own information will be accessible. Hopefully this will create a market for ISPs that want to protect you. I see VPN markets growing even more.

Honestly, it seems that sometimes Google lives on another planet, and have no idea what their customers want. Here's what all google customer want... they want to see their apps improved and updated, and NOT replaced by more apps.

Maybe their plan is... if we make Hangouts worse, than we can make them use Allo and Duo. I know 0 people using those two apps. Even people with Pixel phones are not using it.

That and the fact that any app you download now adds you to their newsletter list. Just because I wanted to try your app, it doesn't mean I want to get tons e-mails from your company. It's so frustrating I stopped trying apps, and instead only download what I really need and/or trust.

I will remove clearfix from my stylesheets once ie9 supports it, or in 2050.. .whichever one comes first. :)

This clock seems rather opinionated. What happens at midnight? Or better... what if nothing happens? And how would this work anyway... some country launches the first nuke, and someone goes running to update the clock to midnight?

Sweet. I saw a 2k17/18 on another site. So that gets my hopes up. I'm a casual gamer, and this seems to be a good in between full console vs mobile gaming.

I've stopped using them for similar reasons. I don't mind them adding all the fees as much. But it's wrong for the original price listed by them to be so far off from what you will actually pay. You see something listed for $15, and end up paying $30.

That's misleading and should be prohibited. Unfortunately this seems to be common practice in most marketing now ... smartphone plans come to mind...

I grew up in Brazil where most cars are manual. After my first automatic car, I really missed switching gears... and I ended up going back to manual. Some friends ask if I don't ever get tired switching gears, but after you've done it for so long, it becomes second nature, you don't have to think about it. Whether true or false, I feel like I have more control of the car when I'm in control of the gear... specially when going up/down a steep hill, or going through terrains other than asphalt.

Please tell me there's a jony ive video about it!
