Credit card rewards are not funded by interest and this idea that credit card companies don't want you paying off your bill every month is retarded. The card issuer gets the majority of the interchange fee and makes a profit on every swipe even after accounting for rewards.

All I have seen is that there aren't a significant number of convictions, but that doesn't really hold wait if you aren't actually trying to catch/prevent people from doing it. If it never happened, there wouldn't be a standard well known practice of casting a provisional ballot if you have already "voted".

Ballmer, the person who pushed for and created the entire Microsoft Enterprise focus, is not an idea guy that understood what made Microsoft successful? This idea that Ballmer was some goof when he was actually considered a co-founder by Bill Gates which is why he received like 17% of the company when he joined.
Also, they put plenty of effort into getting developers to onboard windows phone. They even created multiple platforms that allowed devs to create a single app that worked across all windows devices(pc, phone, xbox) but developers decided, with some very influential devs being extremely vocal, that is was some sort of power grab to force devs to only deliver their software through the windows store.
I think it was actually a good idea. I think they correctly predicted the Android market and saw Windows Phone was a good way to differentiate their phones from everybody else. If you look at the history of Android manufacturers, it was a long slog of brands trading off popularity and hardly making any profit until Samsung eventually became the only mainstream player.
They decided they want to actually get paid for their work and changed their pricing structure so large companies need to pay for their software and apparently that's terrible and everybody started being very vocal about alternatives despite still being able to use it for free.
I would love it if I could have different natural scrolling settings for mouse and trackpad, but that's apparently too much to ask for despite it being supported by every other os.

We wouldn't because the issue always was iphone users never willing to use an app outside of imessage. What good is a messaging platform if more than 1/2 your network won't use it?

User agent strings are all fake and should just be removed. Browsers modify them to game what servers send them, Microsoft had a great blog post about it when they released edge showing the difference in what it received based on user agent string changes.
They have an electrified version of pretty much every car they sell.
Except we do know why because they have written blog posts about it. They would rather make 100 hybrids than 10 BEV's. They think it's better environmentally and they haven't said this part, but probably a lot more profitable as well.

This gets stated a lot, but I don't think it's actually true and RH has stated they don't see an actual benefit from this. Plus, they already have that ecosystem that isn't just free-version of RHEL with CentOS Stream and Fedora.
Yea, we are going to destroy RHEL by doing what they want us to. RH wants more people using and building distros off of centos stream instead of using RHEL clones. I don't think they see this as a negative, especially since it devalues suse in the process because they are basically admitting RHEL is more desirable.

You're understanding of what RHEL is seems to be off. Basically the current pipeline is Fedora->CentOS Stream->RHEL or CentOS Stream -> Fedora, RHEL. The downstream from redhat distros (centos, rocky, alma) were just recompiling the same packages as rhel and claiming 1:1 bug compatibility, which is a claim that might not even be true. They were able to do this because RHEL used to publish the packages that made up the distro to the public, but now they are only doing that for their customers. Everything that exists inside RHEL is available through centOS stream, the issue for the clones is that there also exists some changes that have not been added to RHEL yet.
Ultimately, the issue is RedHat thinks people should be using centOS stream if they don't need enterprise support and a significant part of the community just want RHEL but free.
I'm pretty sure opensuse is upstream from sles and probably closer to fedora than centos stream.
At that point, why wouldn't the user just be using centos stream?
