Do you have a source pointing at that common definition? I lived a majority of my life in the West US (ID, MT, WA), and have never heard North Dakota referred to as the West.

Is biweekly twice a week or every two weeks? My previous gig had grooming/internal grooming every week. We had stand ups twice a week (biweekly). Almost all of these meetings were relatively worthless imo. They existed to justify a BA's position and "track velocity".

What's a suburb? Depending on the level of density and sentiment about public parks (poor people's lawns v. a public good), some relatively low density places are better about public bathrooms. Boise is something like 5K people per sq. mile downtown, but there's public bathrooms at regular intervals on the Greenbelt in places at lower 3K densities.

As homelessness has gotten worse though, there's been noticeable encampments/vehicle caravans building up at these bathrooms.

The shape of data is more foundational than classes. An object without a class is a perfectly good way to organize data too, based on its shape.

In German, the vowels between schwül and schwul were really difficult to do for me as an American English speaker. I couldn't ever hear the difference between rounded and unrounded vowels. American English vowels are only rounded in the back. u and o (and in the East the au in caught).

Starcraft II had a grid (I don't remember the actual name) mode keyboard layout that worked perfectly with Dvorak without having to remap keys.

Other games like the Java version of minecraft didn't work with Dvorak when I tried them. Even with key remapping.

macOS is macOS because the latest version is now 11.2.3. They could have gone with OS XI though.

Is there a similar source that would let you compare MSAs for building of housing units? I'd be interested to see how Boise's MSA lines up with the Bay Area. Most Californian transplants I'd met growing up in the area were from Sacremento/SoCal though.

Boston does this better, where if there isn't traffic, sirens aren't run. At night, sirens are relatively rare. Especially compared to Seattle and Boise where I've also lived.

In Germany, I only ever heard a couple sirens the whole time I lived there, and none directly on my street.
