As someome who has spent the last year primarily with Elixir, it is impossible to overstate how nice pipeline |> is.

It is one of the most convenient and readable pieces of syntax, and one of the primary reasons I pause before using javascript instead of Elixir in a given moment.

I remember finding a first edition of this in my university library during undergrad after reading the likes of Watson/Crick describe it as fundamental in their path. What bowled me over was that each paragraph in that edition - and so very likely the ones they read as well - was marked with a section symbol (§), itself closely resembling a double helix. At the time it felt profound that their conclusion was likely implied by the circumstances of their beginning.

Is there anything at all like this open source?

Does the timing even make sense for attributing the delay to trade tensions? If theyve delayed for more than a year, those tensions were not at their present level a year ago.

This presumes that law enforcement always represent the enforcement of ethically correct directives. This is demonstrably not the case, and categorically deferring to them is likely ethically irresponsible.
