Of course it depends on your "belief system". It's called morals. And what makes a certain set of moral rules superior to a certain other set? That's a centuries old question that will probably not be settled in this forum, but a good approach is the wideness of its adoption among the population. There's probably much more consensus on murder being wrong, than on providing free education being wrong.

But you're welcome to challenge both in the courts of justice and public opinion.

Stupid complaint is stupid.

Nothing to see here people, move on.

Not odd at all. His options were either US-averse Latin American countries (Ecuador, Venezuela, Cuba) or China-Russia. And between those, he took maybe the safest, as said latin american countries may not be able to protect him if the US gov is truly determined to get him.

Maybe I'm missing something something, but where exactly is the exploit here? (0-day no less)

AFAIU, the user was prompted to accept an autosigned applet, and he did so. After that, the outcome was inevitable. You may hate java all you like, but it seems like the user (inadvertently) gave this program permission to steal all his money.

I'm sorry but last time I checked, Mockingbird development is all but stalled since the founders got hired by Stripe. Which is a shame, given how a great product it was.

Since you're probably gonna see them around, please ask them: why don't they just hire an employee to do actual work for Mockingbird? Thanks!
