It appears Samsung isn't honoring their warranties. Is this happening to anyone else?

I bought a Samsung 870 EVO with a supposed 5 year warranty but received an email that stated:

"After carefully reviewing the Bill of Sale of your item, this device only has a year warranty starting from the date of purchase: 03/03/2021."
