One of the most charismatic persons I know was educated in a boys-only school. He's married now, but he definitely has no problems talking with women. Many boys from boy-only schools tend to hang out around girl-only schools so that actually ameliorate the effect.
I personally feel co-education is the way to go but just pointing out it's not a general rule.
I've incorporated GTD into my daily workflow (I use Emacs and have written a GTD module). Personally, it's worked very well for me - especially in reducing my stress levels.
The key (I've found) is to capture _everything_ in buckets. You can then process each bucket based on your energy-level/schedule.
Societal pressure has been ongoing for a long long time in favor of women being popular and practical - perhaps long enough for there to be actual evolutionary selection in favor of women who are disinterested in abstract thought v/s more people-oriented thinking.
Taking this to a logical (although politically incorrect) conclusion - women would just not be as equipped as men (in the general case) to do stuff like hacking.
