Sure. I can agree with that part. One doesn’t have to form corporations for each idea, but if you are taking payments and offering a service or product that may impact another person or business then being protected is important.

“Don’t form a company” means you are personally legally exposed. I’m not a lawyer, I may be wrong, but this seems risky.

I used, and for the most part, enjoyed brandless food products. Decent quality and fair prices ... then they started advertising too many non-food items that were very obviously cheap, low quality mass-produced in China items. I knew this was the beginning of the end for them. Iirc, a $8 “santoku” shaped knife at one point. Super cheap frying pans and kitchen tools with outrageous “mark downs“ ... a “pro blender” was:$180 now:$90. I stopped buying altogether and had not thought about them until this posting.

I installed Edison on iOS somewhat recently. At the end of setting up my server info, there was a question asking if I approved them using/sharing my data. I tapped NO. My information was all deleted like I had just installed the app brand new. I thought it was a bug so I went through set up again. Selected NO again. Account info deleted. You can’t use the app without agreeing they can use your info/data.

I uninstalled.
