From the announcement it’s a lot of unnecessary philosophical moves and less innovation moves. I like innovative Linux, but that’s just my opinion.

I’ve been using Wayland exclusively for about 2 years. It’s great. And when it’s not it gets fixed. X11 isn’t a project anymore, it’s a nightmare of empty meetings and discussions, no coders.

Zfs thin is way better, adjusts on the fly and can handle things like dedupe and compression. Lots of good things in zfs because it’s the filesystem and the volume manager.
