Guess they should just do nothing then? Diversity in buisness is important. And Google has a whole pie from which apple can steal a big chunk of. Simply set apple search to be the default on safari and you immediately have a huge chuck of the market.

The thing I don't really see accounted for in these experiments is that UBI is not really "universal". It's a group, or a town who or are not isolated from the outside economy, and the participants are usually aware/suspect that this bonus income probably won't last forever, so they know they need to keep working to maintain their careers etc.

I'm not sure there's any way to account for it unfortunately, it is such a compelling idea though I think we kind of all want it to be real.

Those no salarie/$1 salarie CEOs sound oh so noble but they are usually compensated very well with stock options and so it's mostly just a facade of giving a

Just like when studying or doing homework getting started and setting yourself up is the hardest part. Keep your IDE and relevant tabs open, if you're on Linux set up a workspace for it and just push the rest aside. Once you start tackling some code you'll be in the zone and will probably have to test yourself away from it.

I think awesome side projects are at least just as valuable as leetcode, and so you should do side projects exclusively unless you have an interview next week.

I don't like that the author didn't bother to explain what it was Visa didn't like, I don't care enough to go digging and so I'm not inclined to take sides.

Visa is well within its rights to blacklist your company, I don't know if they are in the right regarding your personal accounts. But it doesn't sound like you've been blacklisted for "building Gab" which to me made it sound like you were a competing platform it sounds like you ruffled some feathers and now you are trying to play the "but free speech" card which doesn't apply to corporations.

You have to orbit around the center of gravity so these satellites won't just be over the arctic or anything. They have to orbit deep into the southern hemisphere to cover northern Canada so realistically there will probably global coverage at that point and this is just a pilot project of some sort.

Well what is reasonable for a $5 bottle of ibuprofen? How about:

"Misuse of this product is dangerous and may cause death. Advil is not responsible for damages caused by misuse. Read and follow instructions on back of bottle"

That's a bit wordy but it indicates who is responsible (you) and what the gravity of the situation is (possible death). With that established, it means the onus is on the user to do more reading.

IANAL but I would like to belive something like that would satisfy all parties.
