Puppy via USB was one of my first. My real first was SUSE distributed via CD-ROM in a GNU/Linux magazine. I used to run Puppy from not a usb drive but a hard drive in an external closure plugged into the USB port. I was a poor college kid and that's all I had.
The big AI companies already have all of the cheap hardware to run on. It's more like if Denny's bought up all of the eggs when prices were normal, held onto them, then kept buying to keep egg prices up.
Its size and range are too low for the price. End of story on this one.

Follow up question, why aerial drones? Couldn't crawler drones work and avoid FAA regulations? Though obviously would be limited in speed and where lines have been damaged, though perhaps they could be managed to go around the damage via remote control.
How does this get around the problem you mentioned with FAA line of sight regulations?
I quit software, though I never made it very far in it it was my profession for 16 years. I'm a corrections officer now. My new career is drastically less stressful.
I am curious about how you are improving the Linux experience with claude code. Can you dive into that a little?
When I read about the culture at Google, and similarly YouTube, I am constantly reminded of how (and probably why) their products have stagnated/gotten worse over time despite having top engineers. I believe Google has the talent to build anything in their wildest dreams. So why do their products suck? YouTube sucks from the user POV, Google classroom sucks, the user experience in their office suite leaves a tremendous amount to be desired for even a basic user like me, Android never improves, their voice recognition and assistant are trash. There's so much room for competition, I wonder where it is? What are they spending their money and talent on (besides AI)? I feel like it must primarily be on reliability, speed, and delivering more ads.
The storm is likely within the administration and across governmental departments. Trump will try to drive out whoever doesn't toe his line, even if he legally doesn't have the authority to do so.
Just stop buying Pepsi products. Stop going to Walmart. You don't need either. You don't need potato chips or soda or Gatorade or any of the other poison they produce.

What windows apps do you need? I switched full time to Ubuntu about a month ago and haven't missed a thing. I thought it would be harder, but after some usability configuration changes like how the mouse scrolls, some browser keyboard settings, system font sizes, and logging into a few accounts it has been snag free. Oh and I did install Microsoft fonts. I hate most Linux fonts. The biggest change really is just getting used to new icons. There are several features in Ubuntu I vastly prefer over windows, like window tabs in the file explorer for instance.

Isn't there a website that picks your clothes out for you and you send back what you don't like? If you're not actively paying attention to fashion maybe outsource this one.
The Vivaldi web browser tab groups are a killer feature. It's my main browser because of this.
I just installed windows on a new laptop and somehow my user directory was setup in a OneDrive subfolder and backed up to their cloud. Between that, Microsoft basically demanding I use their online account to log in, Windows harassing me to finish setting up my computer every time I turn it on because they want me to change my default browser and buy subscriptions, and the random forced update restarts I can't seem to fully disable, I've had it. So I finally made the full time switch to kubuntu. Also, it's a brand new $1k laptop with 16gb of RAM and Windows uses half of it. I'm closing apps to save the RAM. Kubuntu uses 2gb.
True or not that the wealthy pay a greater share of their money in taxes, it doesn't matter. The money has to come from somewhere and the middle and lower classes can't afford it. Also the middle class can't pay more and continue buying the super wealthy's goods. We need to spend less and tax more. 1 trillion in interest per year is insane.
The American dream is dead and none of our politicians on the right and not enough on the left are talking about it. The American dream isn't to get filthy rich by providing an innovative product or solution and gobbling up an astronomical percentage of monetary resources. The dream is to come out of college with easy to repay debt or work a trade with a good union, be able to buy a home after a few years of saving, start a family, not go deep into credit card debt just to survive, and retire on time. None of that is feasible anymore and will not without major changes. Trump may think he's bringing that back with his tariffs but it's not a one fix problem. Many things need to be addressed that we are not willing to talk about.
I just bought my first windows 11 computer. Why are my personal folders like pictures and documents under a OneDrive folder? This is insane. Going to see how Ubuntu runs on it and hopefully never look back.
In some dystopian future we may have to consent to the DMV to be tracked. They can make whatever rules they want to before they give us permission to use their roads.
All of our retirement accounts are investing in the stock market. That is why it's untouchable. Where else would our retirement accounts put their money?

Maybe they're exposed to light at night because they're awake at night more often, possibly shift workers, which we already know is unhealthy. I doubt just having light on is causing the effect.
I'm not sure anything 'just works'. I have an Ender 3 S1 with autoleveling. I still have to adjust 4 knobs while getting under the print head with a feeler gauge. It's absolutely maddening. I need to do this with every print. If I don't touch the thing for a few months it's really bad. If you don't get it right it will gauge your printing surface or alternatively rip your piece apart as it prints. Then you need to know about bed temperature, nozzle temperature, and a hundred other things. Then what types of filament work best with certain bed types. I wish I never got it.
Saw it at probably 11. Had the same nightmares for probably 15 years. Really shouldn't have watched it. Woke up many times looking out the window for the blast from Sarah's dream that I had just seen in mine.
I'm a major snacker in my 40s, have been most of my adult life. When I don't have my daughter I would fill myself up with cookies, cereal, and chocolate candy. I've been a few months off of all of that shit, accidentally didn't really plan it, I just haven't had any cravings whatsoever. I'm sure it could come back easily but it's not here and I don't miss it. I've lost a lot of fat. I'm not just eating fruit and vegetables, but I'm finding meals alone are enough.

It sounds like they couldn't hire enough people to fill vacancies. The diversity push could have been an attempt to encourage a wider range of people to consider the occupation.
I feel like you're interacting with the same people I'm interacting with because your assessment of them is spot on. They love the talking points. Whenever you shut down one talking point with facts they pole vault over that into the next talking point. They want to be 20 ft up in the air away from the truth and never question why they've been lied to. They believe and even make up wild conspiracy theories on the spot when confronted with information that conflicts with what Trump and his supporters have said and done. Their brains leap over every possible barrier I put up, never letting it stop them. Maybe I'm not a good debater but facts are facts and they don't seem to appreciate or respect or even value them. I need to find a new, less depressing group of people to be around which will unfortunately mean quitting my job but I just can't do it anymore.
