I'm surprised they don't have a cap on number of recipients. That is often a problem orgs had to deal with around holiday time.

Maybe but they've executed a great vendor lock in strategy for kids. Apple Purchases are shared with child accounts as is Family Sharing in Apple Music. Transition costs are going to be very high for those that are part of the "iPad mini is my first computer" generation.
I don't know Alex directly. I've worked in security a long time in various positions. Watch his recent talk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1kZMn1RueI
0) Highly Technical Past. https://www.blackhat.com/presentations/bh-jp-06/BH-JP-06-Sta... < This is part of the problem space every app dev team has. 1) Great handle on technical realities and where things are going. 2) Great, clear, entertaining speaking style. 3) Articulate social media presence. 4) Doesn't come off as a security asshole.
Most companies realize they should have security at this point. Getting there is another matter. Delivering the culture and attracting the right hires from a incredibly finite talent pool is the difference in the ability to execute.
From what I've seen, his style wins over even the non-security people and he knows the technical better than most "Senior" security people. I suspect he'll have no problems filling his roles at Facebook.
Aww. I miss using Window Maker. I used to maintain the FAQ as it was the first software project I was involved with. To set the era, newsgroups were active but dying, freenode irc was shiny and new, freshmeat (now defunct) hadn't launched yet, linux.com hadn't lost millions, and slashdot hadn't launched, and Linux was a pita to keep working on my Dell laptops.
I still give people the advice to get involved with a project even if just in a docs roll at first.
Please don't do this. Max Butler did that to DNS in 1998 with patching bind (plus a backdoor). He went to prison 18 months. Then coming back out, he ended up doing carding and back to prison.

It may be the lack of capabilities to deal with a mass radiation event.
I can't find any references to how many crew are typically assigned to the USS Ronald Regan. Guam doesn't seem like it has a lot of healthcare support for a full-aircraft carrier of irradiated seamen.
Those clauses are to prevent the application from downloading code that is not reviewed. Blocking HTTP requests and requiring HTTPS requests would block several categories of legit applications but it would be nice to have them explained.
There are plenty of open source replacements for graphing data that involve computers. The calculator is a form-factor challenge and marketing challenge. Calculator markets are driven very early by what is acceptable for a High School Student to use.
Current US influential standards:

I used to use nxlog to collect Windows AD logs to a Linux server. Often, it would end up deadlocking (2-3/week) on the Windows Side and would stop shipping the logs. It was very useful to have the logs but I'm very glad we were able to replace it.
