Yea, it doesn't sound like the driver is truthful in the report. It is super easy to disengage autopilot - I do it all the time on accident. Just a little nudge of the wheel and it just gives up. Of course, this is assuming there isn't a firmware bug, but such a bug would have likely been reported publicly on the dozens of Tesla forums given it's severity

It's kind of crazy how the shortage of GPUs is affecting pricing on physical devices. My RTX Titan I bought in 2019 for $2,499 runs almost $5k on Amazon and is in short supply. The Titan V options you linked (although I think theres a typo because you referred it it as a Titan X) is an option - but it is still super overpriced for it's performance. Of course, this will probably settle down in the next year or two, and by then there will be new GPUs that are ~2-4x flop/$ compared to the V100/A100.
If this is one server, I can't imagine how much bandwidth Netflix pushes out of a single PoP - does anyone have those numbers, or at least estimates?
In this case, the microphones are in fact on and processed by some relatively cheap (in terms of power consumption) algorithm whose sole purpose is detecting that phrase. Only after it detects that phrase does it start processing speech in any significant way

Most trackers are 3rd parties that require you to go through their hosts. Additionally, these trackers are usually picked out by business analysts / product managers on different teams - so marketing my have their own tracking solution, sales might have their own, and engineering might have their own. Tends to be faster/easier to plop javascript on a page than engineering your own tracking/analytics pipeline at early stage startups
