Two things LLM coding agents are still bad at 10 months ago

LLMs can emit code fast but they don’t really handle code like developers do — there’s no sense of spatial manipulation, no memory of where things live, no questions asked before moving stuff around. Until they can “copy-paste” both code and context with intent, they’ll stay great at producing snippets and terrible at collaborating.
