Now that's sensible, approach it like any other drug out there and inform the people of the different percentages of thc, cbd (and whatever else that actively influences anything). At least then we would have an educated society, using substances as they please KNOWING what good (or bad) certain substances could do. Saw the documentary which was enlightening, whether or not Vermeer actually produced his works like this, doesn't do it less good. An artist is still an artist, no matter which tools he uses (of course, printing a photograph with a 3d-printer to get some relief i still a 3d-printed photograph, reproducing it by hand however is still a wholly diff thing, and if you can see how much time "Tim" spent on his Vermeer, you can only applaud the fact that he persisted in his try to copy one of the greater works in history).

Nice docu and a fun way to get acquainted with some artsy work. In the end, "photorealists" are just that, "photorealists" who like to get as close to the real deal as they possibly can, whatever means necessary. (what or what isn't "photograph" is not up to discussion here at all)

population control... = misunderstanding of basic science... GM food = NOT the GM Food the companies tell us about. We have been "modifying" genes for centuries thanks to simple, natural selection/crossing. Instead of putting more money into those methods (looking at crops region to region) the GM-maffia is only trying to patent a "universal/general" crop that should work in large areas.... anyhow, I am presenting all this very simplistically, but, I do not feel the need to insert genes from animals into plants n vice versa.

Is a study into GM necessary: yes, do we need to let monopolies decide policy for the people? no f'in way...

The funny thing is... people refer to google image search as a solution to track down infringers... yet... the fact that those pictures can be found on google image search seems to be overlooked... isn't google infringing by showing us any pictures at all? or are they allowed to make money off of it by showing it in their image search results... Just stating the obvious here... it's not infringement if you are... big brother?

Lol, truism, yet, for older frameworks, layers of code that are always "in front" of the css (for whatever damned reason) this might still become an issue in some form or another. That said, it should obviously show through when the "test-phase" is there to verify every line of code. nice find though, nice find.

I feel sick to my stomach as well, all about the artist's heart here, as well as about the respect this one has for Spike Lee (which I admire a lot myself). As an advocate for righteousness, this does come across rather harsh and intimidating so I hope SL reconsiders the contract with the people responsible for this mishap... That said... I am against corporate take-over of the whole deal... trading one illegal kingpin by another legal one is just against democracy... All for local growers n blowers... whether medical or recreational. If you know who makes policy, you also know they can still take the power away from the people while it being legal for... "profit mongering companies"... there are plenty of sharks out there waiting to make a mcWdz out of it...
