Completely agree. I use LLM like I use stackoverflow, except this time i get straight to the answer and no one closes my question and marks it as a duplicate, or stupid.
I dont want it integrated into my IDE, i'd rather just give it the information it needs to get me my result. But yeah, just another google or stackoverflow.
Its very frustating that it can't be relied upon. I was asking gemini this morning about Uncharted 1,2 and 3 if they had a remastered version for the PS5. It said no. Then 5 minutes later I on the PSN store there were the three remastered versions for sale.
I do a lot of CRUD, and while it is really boring and very similar work, It all builds up to my global system that I basically developed from the ground up at the charity that I work for.
I have been able to invent my own projects along the way, such as mp3 to subtitles and a student portal for the college side of the charity. It's been really fun. However without writing a crud page for some new idea that someone has once a week I dont think I'd still be here.
