The biggest issue with all this is that ICE agents are in fact NOT police officers.
As a US citizen you DO NOT have to obey them in the same manner as a police officer and their rights to detain you are limited. Unless they were placing her under arrest she was free to leave and drive on. Most ICE agents lack the same training that your average state police officer would be forced to go through and thus are far more likely to do something stupid.
If you watch the slow-mo versions of the video people have posted you can see the ICE agent in question actually fired his weapon when his arm was fully extended away from his body still in front of vehicle as he had moved his body out of the impact zone of the front of her car. That's a terrible way to discharge a weapon even if you think you life is in danger. Seems far more likely it was a panic shot out of fear he was still in front of her not realizing he was no longer in danger.
Even if she had floored it at that point, and overal she was driving pretty slowly like a panicked mom might do, his arm would have just been struck by the windshield as she passed.

Who cares. It's the stock market. You aren't guaranteed a profit. It doesn't give a shit about protecting you. People have been making stupid financial decisions for decades...some people are going to make a lot of money and others will lose their shirts. Same with the bitcoin people, the tesla people, etc etc.

As someone who's not knowledgeable about this...will SpaceX or a private space company ever begin sending satellites, probes, rovers to planets besides NASA's current planning or does the reduced cost of the reusable rockets not help that much given the lack of financial payoffs and amount of time needed to maintain.
Always bums me out that we aren't sending probes off to all the inner and outer planets every year given the length of time it takes for them to even get to their destination.

AZ is the state I'll be watching. Due to the issues around the last election they changed the rules and will begin counting mail-in ballots far earlier and 98% will be counted by the time the polls close. The turnout so far has been massive

On Slack or Zoom you can't take a walk around the office to clear your head/take a brief breather and inadvertently bump into a person who asks a question about your t-shirt or new Apple watch, which then leads to a longer convo, which leads to grabbing coffee in the kitchen, which leads to you hanging out with that person and their group of friends over the a weekend.

-His podcast format is basically a couple of friends shooting the shit, often while stoned or drunk, but his "friends" are typically smart interesting experts in a particular subject matter. When that is the case he will usually let them do most of the talking.
-Due to the above format, Rogan rarely questions or challenges his quests in a manner that might make them look bad or feel uncomfortable/defensive. Though if what they are saying goes against his own internal beliefs or views, no matter how ill-informed, he will push back aggressively. In general, he's not very knowledgable or well-read outside of Twitter/YT/etc which helps the conversation flow.
-At the same time due to his success and the power of his show most of his guests will bend over backward to not question anything he asserts as fact or make him look dumb/misinformed. They all want to be invited on again as its massive for their career/product they are selling/etc. This helps make the conversations interesting but also light and fluffy to be easily consumed.
-He appeals to an overly male skeptic type audience that is fascinated by the fringe across news, information, media, science, history etc.
-He cranks out a ton of content with lots of different guests which is really the key to his success. Rogan has been wealthy and successful since the 1990s and has a unique and interesting lifestyle that affords him the ability to do his show exactly how he wants, invite any guest he wants, and do it often. So whether you are into MMA, hunting, scientists, tech CEO's, alt-right political figures, comedians, conspiracy wonks, etc...there is a sub-genre of content available for you to binge.
I would wager most people who watch podcasts on youtube are using it as a second screen while on their phone, tablet, laptop etc
