Type A is wayyy more common than B or AB, at least in the US (and I think Europe?). Not sure about other regions. That could distort the effect, which looks to be fairly minor in the first place.

This is very apparent in (many parts of) Europe. Cash is so much faster there than in America, for a few reasons. The primary cause, I think, is the fact that the prices are generally round numbers, with tax included. This means that you can, in most cases, pay with a small number of coins or bills. In the USA you'd be wrestling with pennies.
Also bubblesort is sometimes the best solution, for instance in very small lists or linked lists.

This is another potential vulnerability. If the app does not check a good signature, then it may be vulnerable to malicious update delivery.

This is exactly what jailbreaking fixes. By default, iOS does not allow you to install apps that are not published in the App Store.
Are there any other types in C that allocate space on the heap? Is that even possible in C? Not C++; there we have std::string, which is much as you describe above.
Bluetooth, Spotify, Tasker to automatically choose playlists based on a few parameters, Google/Moto Now to add some manual control. I actually replaced my (busted) tape deck recently with a new head unit, and the improvement is thousandfold. Everything is automatic now.
