It's a good point about listing progressive apps in the AppStore, and I think Microsoft has done a great job at taking the lead here. I imagine a world where users don't have worry about the tech behind the UX they're experiencing, they go to the AppStore, a 3rd party site, a URL simply to find "experiences".

I also wonder if we can move from the Store-Driven model on phones to something more transient perhaps that leverages the URL and natural links of them (since obv. don't want to be typing urls). Thought experience: What if your homescreen icons were managed by the OS (and can be Apps, PWAs, etc.) ordered by last accessed. You can then overide and "pin/install" the experiences you want.

As a former teacher at one of those camps, I can attest to having kids there who loved being there and learning. What kids end up doing in their summers should be a ongoing dialogue between the parent and their child, without any voice overpowering the other.

From a UX perspective, I might consider dropping the amount of items per frame. It's a bit easy to be trigger happy, so users could end up tapping spacebar before all the items had a chance at drawing their attention. The success metric here is probably to draw users deep into the funnel as opposed to exposing them to as much as possible. Increase the "sense" that it's signal rather noise.

I like the icons depicting the categories/types btw!

Is it meant to be default to full on flat-ui? First impression is that the buttons are now less apparent interface items and it'll take more careful layout planning to make a quick bootstrap effective. Thoughts?
