Amazing. I've long thought about doing this exact product, so glad you executed - I think it's a great idea. It looks like through shortcuts a user can likely interface with the Apple "focus" modes, which makes for an iOS like experience.
Of course should be baked into the OS itself... so does this need any permissions to work? I don't trust you enough to install it so that would be nice to be clear on.

I followed your search instructions - and skimmed a few hundred of the 1 star reviews, the only 2 I could find that were positive are the ones you mentioned. So I'm not sure this is as much an issue as you indicate? That review saying "ADVERTISEMENT" is not because they are stating the review is an advert, it's because where they copy/pasted it from includes the alt text of an advert.
I don't have an iPad, but assistive touch might help your grandparents.

MacBook 12 inch 2015 is no longer supported. Disappointing, it would probably run fine on mine.
This is the main reason. Twenty years ago it was very hard to get your message as Government out there to the people, with media being the only conduit to do so, of course with their own agenda. Now if you want to communicate a point, or refute something, you can hop on Twitter and sort it out.
I agree, still running a 12" 2015, it's an incredible machine that just doesn't feel as though it has been replaced. Makes the Pro and Air feel like heavy weights.
Cormen - Introduction to Algorithms (CLRS) is probably the most recommended.
Depending on where you are starting from, MIT opencourseware lectures might be helpful too.
I always really enjoy reading graph algorithm pieces, and similarly after studying them have never actually used them. A really nice approach to a fun problem.

As a side point - whatever happened to the YC research basic income study? After great fanfare 4 years ago, it's been very quiet the past year.
I agree - after trying many notes and lists apps, I settled on the simplicity of Notes. It's also very fast.

This isn't assuring to read at all. I'm trying to build and still relying heavily on DO, for what is becoming thousands in profit quite quickly. Frankly, I'm very uninterested in resolving a problem in hosting - mostly because it's boring, but because DO seems nice to use in every other way.
On the other hand - I'm becoming increasingly aware of the inevitable Twitter-social-media-pile-on for any company ever.

It's completely stopped working for me on Chrome / Linux (Rats! WebGL hit a snag error) I've tried a few times to fix this but ultimately I've transitioned to always using my phone for maps.
I found this a great read and immensely useful, but the styling to pull out words/phrases in bold felt really distracting, and above all unnecessary.
Though it might be Chrome on Win 7, which makes fonts generally look awful.

Jay-Z is fairly well known to have reached considerable wealth prior to Reasonable Doubt. The 'Classic Albums: Reasonable Doubt' doc covers this quite well. The route of selling 'In My Lifetime' out of his car was one in turn that he escaped.
I complied with everything they ask and they no longer bug me really. But still Google+ is unusable, it constantly uses 40% of my processor just to have that tab open in Chrome/Linux. Facebook runs lovely in comparison.
I'm using them as well, very helpful and quick customer service with a simple interface.
If we start to question artists morally then very quickly a lot of significant work and artists should 'abandon the scene'. From Lennon to Wagner, Ferdinand-Celine to Bill Murray, Polanksi via Woody Allen, to Chris Brown to Kanye (probably the mildest on this shopping list).
