No mention of the pain actually setting up PHP web servers? Knowing how to tune apache/nginx fcgi etc?

I bet he drives without a seatbelt too.
But they masked the headlights in the treatment process. Which also raises the issue, you'll still need to wash your headlights and number plate.
This sounds more like he was made redundant than fired. If his role at the company is no longer required that is redundancy and there should be a severance package in his favour. Assuming laws are similar to the UK.
As does blinkbox.com in the UK
Unusable on Chrome under Ubuntu on an 8 core xeon with 32GB of ram.
You're trying to invent solutions to problems that nobody have.
JVM languages seem to be the flavour of the month at the moment. Why do IDE makers feel the need to invent their own languages?
Leela is a mutant, not an alien.
The best thing on the page was the face palm user image.
Doesn't work on Version 30.0.1599.66 in gnome
Yet another case of a blog where I click the logo at the top and I don't get taken to the product, I get taken to the blog index. Infuriating!

I want to add my wallet without using the scanner.
Clicking the house rather than the name seems to go to the main website.
Personally, I never hold my phone in the position described in this post. For a start you can't even press the home button from this position. I hold my phone (in my right hand) with the bottom right corner much closer to the bottom of my ring finger.
Comparing your bank account against an Apple template seems like a big waste of time. What is the point of this? Just a hook to get people to signup to your service and fill them with wild ideas of being the next Apple based solely on finances?
Yes this practice should not be acceptable, if a company does it I actively avoid them and recommend friends do the same. I think the market for this sort of thing will ever be shrinking as more and more of the technology generation grow into adults. It's a shame that normal people out in the world are completely unaware this is even happening on their systems. I often speak to people who've falled foul of this practice and they don't even know where it come from and don't seem worried that something appeared without them approving it. Most of the time they just assume that's how it's always been and they'd not noticed it before.
He would have had better luck finding a partner by getting away from the computer, sleeping in a real bed, improving his lifestyle and learning to be a better conversationalist. Sounds like he was a recluse "Sleeping at his computer cubicle" and spending no time actually going out and enjoying life.
Trying to signup it asks for my weight but doesn't say what unit of measurement is expected.
Or just setup your browser/network connection to use a free web proxy in a non-blocking country that can easily be found on Google.
Also commented on this on the GG community. Hopefully Giffgaff can apply some pressure on O2 from a more official direction.
I consider myself a Designineer.
This is just a sales spike due to the new user period. When a user gets a ebook reader for the first time they will buy lots of books to fill the device, including books they already own. Once sales to new users drops off the sales rate will also flatten out. I believe digital will ultimately be the bigger platform in future due to convenience of buying a book and getting it instantly (rather than waiting for the post man).
Kermode did this in January 2010
