Writing maintainable, comprehensible code is truly the greatest challenge when creating software.

This is the definition of a gimmick. How is this superior to the various existing bluetooth-based solutions. Need to navigate without looking at a screen? Bluetooth headphones or a bluetooth connection to your car. Need to skip a track when listening to music? Bluetooth headphones or a bluetooth connection to.... Need to "handle a call"? Bluetooth head-

Particularly the question(s?) about list mutability. That is such a language specific property.

I honestly like the sites that block adblock. I only use adblock because it is so easy and has such massive benefits, but I still feel guilty than I am not supporting content creators.

Stuff like this often makes me question using any DRM or platform-locked services, particularly steam. If valve decided to make a shady decision there is very little that its users could do about it.

Isn't this already how much documentation is structured implicitly?

For example if you have a technical article which references some concept there will likely be a link to another article which explains that concept.

Thus each page already acts as a node connected to other nodes by the links within it. No need for a more formalized graph.

I guess the best course of action to prevent this would be to alias rm to a custom script, then parse the arguments to make sure the root directory is never recursively deleted, then calling rm from within your script.

The real question is why would someone reverse engineer the source code for no reason? You would have to know what you are looking for before you started.

After dicking around with the API for a while I found that that you can highlight/dim tabs using chrome.tabs.highlight running in a background script of an extension. Maybe I'll spend a little while tomorrow making a more complete version.

Well he commented that it was made with chromium, which I think probably sorts out the three issues that I mentioned.

Serious props to you for making a web browser. That is legitimately impressive.

However I feel like most people won't be willing to sacrifice the feature support, stability and security that a larger browser can provide for a potentially better experience.

If this was made by a single person you should really do a write up about the development process. I think many people would also be interested in that.

I mean medium no worse than any other blogging platform. Who cares if there is crap content on there? The internet is a sea of crap. You just use your brain when reading to see if something sounds like bullshit, and take everything you read with a grain of salt, just like you would anywhere on the internet.

It's not like many people actually browse medium.com, we all just get linked there from HN and reddit, which could happen on any platform. Any crap is really the fault of a the community linking to it.

And in my honest opinion, I haven't really seen that many genuinely awful posts to medium. Perhaps some of you could link to some of the terrible posts this guy is referencing?

I mean the largest expense would almost certainly be third-party pen testing and QA. And why would it take a technical writer 5 days to document this? It has 1 function.

This is just terrible programming. Everything should get escaped and quoted before interacting with any code.
