I have been using Sublime Text for about a year now and it's my killer app for Windows. I've had to learn to use msysGit and plink/putty/pageant just because I had to have Sublime Text as my environment.

I've already informed my boss he has to buy ST2 as soon as it's available. It is, especially with Zen Coding plugin, one of my favorite programs (design/function/utility) that I've ever installed, and I've tried a bunch of the "programmers" text editors for Windows and Linux.

Actually, I've been blog free until just recently. I'm a terribly sentimental type of guy, but I had never realized the potential of a blog to be almost like the "new" photo album.

Since I started with that idea, I've also realized that online identity is becoming very, very important. So much so that people land jobs because of it. It's a great way to break the ice, on the readers terms.

So while I feel like I'm late to the game, I have now immersed myself into social networks. I started blogging, flickring, facebooking, tweeting, githubbing(?), and now, buzzing.

Big thanks Rail3 team. This is a truly worthy next iteration. Can't wait to tinker with it this weekend.

I would say it depends on the person your talking to. To most people, a "hacker" is a "cracker". A geek, loves card games and anime. A nerd loves thick books. But a programmer? They do magical things to computers, something people acceptedly don't understand, and theres no hard stereotypes regarding.

You certainly don't want to have to describe yourself too much. The more you try to describe, the less credibility you'll have. In my opinion, programmer is wonderfully enchanting to people who are not versed in... hacker lingo.

Very nice. Points for cleanliness. I'm running Chromium on Win7 RC1 (SRWare Iron specifically) and I'm getting blocks for the quotes in the sub title “Find your character!”
