Use mermaid quite often. It's best for simple flow charts, git flows, etc, but where applicable it is great.
It is especially nice combined with mkdocs and the mermaid plugin when doing documentation.
Google Maps has lane navigation. IDK what you mean about 'auto' recentering. I think it does this though.
There used to be a zoom out/overview feature, but it's def not in Android Auto these days.

I am biased, as I've had every pro/xl but the Pixel6 and the google nexus phone's prior to that.
With that being said i've only had questionable build quality on 2 occasions. The Huawei 6p which was covered under a recall, and the Panda Pixel 2XL where there was some lamination issues.
That being said, the build quality and materials (mostly) really stepped up initially in the Pixel 4, and then noticeably again in the P7. They are quite nice. I don't really find them lacking in quality, fit, or finish these days.
This is the distinction that people often fail to make or care about when lazily lobbing hate at anything new google creates.

I was under the impression that their double wide container rig would be at deck level and lashed down to the vessel; not stacked on top of other containers. This is the only way they could control the vertical height of the retracted sail for going under bridges, etc.

What you end up cobbling together to really create a fully fledged environment ends up being what the yaml does for you in a consistent manner.
Also, getting off of "DOCKER", and specifically "docker desktop" and its magic, is beneficial.

Change, sure. We've had browserify, parcel, rollup, webpack. Then the next wave hit with snowpack, esbuild, vite, lasso, turbopack etc.
There's a few that have hung around like rollup and webpack, but there's definitely a constant feel of chasing the dragon when it comes to js bundlers/builds, if not JS tooling as a whole.
I don't think slide toggles are inherently bad, but yes color is your friend and doing them like Material does them is a solid foundation.

You may want a THING, but you don't know about a particular brand or style of said THING. Just by making you aware of them can be a win win.
Say you've been researching "THINGS" for a couple weeks and narrowed it down to 2 brands. An Ad pops for a brand you'd never heard of. Naturally you check it out, only to find out its better than either of the options you were previously considering.
I disagree. Manipulate is not only loaded, but it is the wrong word.
Ads attempt to persuade. They can be implemented in manipulative ways, but ads aren't inherently that IMO.

But Stadia might be 1 of 1 ..maybe 2 or 3 pay services they've ever cancelled.
Apparently google employees had a meeting telling them Stadia would be shutting down ~45 minutes prior to it being released to the public.
I get the feeling that many were blindsided with the abruptness.
