At least until it doesn't. If this spacex venture succeeds because it got propped up by index funds, then that's a decent indicator that more will follow.

Imo it's fine to glorify the 65+ hour grind a founder takes on. The issue is trying to apply that logic to normal employees. The calculation of time v payoff is worlds different
I agree that intelligent people often get railroaded into a certain kind of life, but I think the prognosis is still a little off. It's clear in the US that owning a successful company has some of the highest outcomes possible in society (if financial freedom is the goal).
People who don't have those types of things in mind can only be so smart in my book.

Bothsides-ism is such a plague. While I don't agree with everything you said, I feel like the pandemic response doesn't get enough credit. Everyone hated how the Biden admin responded in the moment, but looking back the US really came out ahead compared to almost everyone else
For me, it has been the journey. I love being able to say "do this" and just magically have it done, then looking over the result and saying, "well not exactly like that, I actually want it to be a little more like this." I am slowly vibe-iterating over what I hope is a solid platform, and it's been a lot of fun
