This is really slimy, Google swung and missed and let Go of the bat here.

I feel like this comment is seriously underestimating the average farmer, these are people with complicated jobs and wide ranges of skill sets. Also when your livelihood is threatened unless you learn how to do something, you're gonna learn how to do that thing.
Public transit should be taxpayer funded and free at point of entry.
bsd 3 clause nice
I still think they should have added another ship.

Funny (not really) that Bill Blair is the Minister of Public Safety now.
Oskar Stålberg makes some great games. Dude did Bad North before this one.
Who will enforce this? The police? There's nobody interested in enforcing such an order.
Paper straws can be a choking hazard for some.
As the article says, this isn't legal, and violates Provincial Privacy law.
I've never had a font make me laugh so hard.
Yikes, this is looking pretty bad:
"Rubin was also 'alleged to have engaged in human sex trafficking': in an October 2018 lawsuit brought by his ex-wife, Rie Rubin, she claimed that Andy Rubin had multiple 'ownership relationships' with several highly paid women. In text messages produced in that case, Andy Rubin allegedly claimed that he could 'loan' these women as they were 'kinda like… my property.'"
It is never a waste of time to become a Plan 9 user!
Looks like that pricing is academic only, though.
It's possible they're using the uncomfortable security risks as a play to get better terms out of Google.
So from what I gather, the developer is leaving the project because LLVM is involved with a project that offers paid internships to women/trans/genderqueer and racial minorities?
Classy.
Your point certainly stands, but this is misunderstanding e2e encryption to a point.
Reasonably secure open source solutions exist at large for encrypted messaging, and people who really want to keep their communications hidden will simple not adhere to these regulations.
Meanwhile, we'd be weakening domestic standards for all "law abiding" citizens/entities. A back door is never just a back door for the person who put it there.
"New FBI chief continues tradition of (willfully?) misunderstanding communications encryption"
Firefox on Android supports NoScript actually!
This is an old exploit that has been since patched by Sony in firmware 4.07 (the last section of the article shows the fix).
This is really the only sane workaround. Unfortunately you have to set wired connections as metered through regedit (afaik).
Understandably different benchmarks have different measurements of success (scores vs. time spent in seconds, etc) but I agree this could be displayed better some way.
Perhaps simply outlining/indicating by colour or a visual marker for the better performer on the chart.
I honestly haven't found NoScript on Firefox mobile too painful to use (https://noscript.net/nsa/latest/).
Maybe I'm just paranoid enough to put up with it though :)
Some even become toxic, like tetracyclines!
I wouldn't necessarily say the bar is low... but I feel like the work culture is certainly much healthier here.
freeware?
Yikes. This is the 2nd or 3rd ICO generator company I've seen these past few days. Are these being generated too?
Wonderful, I had been making O'Reilly joke covers by hand, and it's quite tedious
