“You can also reach out to your local County Democratic Party, Indivisible Chapter, or other activist group and request they add uncapping the U.S. House of Representatives as an officially endorsed policy”
I’m unfamiliar with this idea. I read the entire post. When I got to the above quote I am unsure why the suggestion is to reach out to only a Democrat Party rep. Is this idea not also beneficial/desirable for the Republican Party?
So, basically it’s a stop-loss notification for those holding $2M now?
Please do more research. They are most decidedly not “simply too old”. They have been “refreshed” many times over - from engines, to flight electronics, to targeting and comms systems, to airframe structures, to coffeemaker automation.
Honestly only read enough of that to get the gist, but having been through many iterations of this over a couple decades of living a life in SV tech - you carry on. Each time you take away (hopefully) some improved sensitivity to the flags and signs that help guide your future decisions. That said, it’s also the nature of a fast moving industry to rapidly ideate-float-fund-fold.
Garbage spam.
Isn’t that just about the average wage for a degreed finance middling in NYC?
Headlines that vaguely attempt to infer causality or even unproven correlation are getting increasingly frustrating to sift through.
“The data predates a boom in data center development across Mississippi.”
Defend your thesis.
What’s wrong with you?
Ad spam. Adios.
Why does this require a phone number to get any form of access?
No thanks.

Or do you believe it’s only one party? What’s your take on the 4 years Biden was in office wrt investigations and prosecutions of Democrat rivals? Clean hands, all legitimate?
For reference I’m not a Trump supporter, since that seems to be relevant to up/down votes here.

Which was exactly my point. It happens more than it should, and it’s wielded by both parties.
That said, as in all cases I’d like to see the evidence and probable cause and not rely on Fox News or CNN.
When I read comments like yours I always wonder why the commenter isn’t wildly successful at creating wealth for themselves and jobs for many. Why haven’t you? Why haven’t you built a big business and started giving money away beyond what the tax and regulatory laws call for?
Completely off topic: the font on that site is quite readable and easy on the eyes and brain, the way the dyslexia font on the Kindle is.
It has been presented as a law enforcement action to bring a wanted criminal to justice. What do you mean by “televised sham trial”? Are you suggesting the US manufactured evidence?
Have you considered this is part of a negotiated exit?
Why $1bn? Is that $1bn in cash? Cash plus rare gems, excluding Sierra gold nuggets? Equities plus commercial real estate over 10 floors tall? What makes 1% a good threshold? Why not 4? Why not tax all assets on a recurring basis? Do California taxpayers still trust their government will properly and responsibly spend a $100bn tax windfall? What happens when that is spent and deficits return? Another “one time tax” on multimillionaires?
Just making a point about the poor handling of existing tax income and spending discipline, as well as the very arbitrary nature of these tax-seeking initiatives.
I often wonder if leaving out “illegal” or “illegally present” in statements like “dramatically stepped up deportations of immigrants” is intentional, or if there’s some nuance that’s just not obvious to those of us who legally immigrated.
I mean, ok, but “scoop” is a bit much. Every fact of the deal to acquire was detailed months ago.
What would be a real scoop is reporting more details on the vast number of Bytedance employees that have been literally installed in the “USDS” organization in recent weeks. It has quickly become indistinguishable from CCP-controlled Bytedance. Allegiances are sus.
Expand on your point, lest you simply appear to be lazily coasting on mildly popular sentiment, without effect.
Particularly spelling and grammar.
Please defend your thesis.
Yikes.
Similar background and weariness with tech, but I’m a bit older, and I’ve actually left and returned to tech a couple times.
A question I’d ask you is, are there other things that really call out to you? If you could do anything as a career, or at least in a phase of your career, do you have deeply felt answers?
I’ve made the “anything but tech” move before and regretted it after a period of decompression and perspective reset.
Huh? Defend your thesis.
Curiously the “get full database access” link on many entries takes you to dodoengineering.ru.
Not sure I follow. What do you mean by “officials that can’t be trusted”? What list?
Is Trek not one of the dozens of bike brands made in the US? I’d always thought they were.
Edit: this looks like a good source on US bike manufacturers: https://thebestbikelock.com/bike-brands/bikes-made-in-usa/
Overly lenient? On the whole I’d say the press has been aggressively assailing anyone/anything they think deserving. MSNBC certainly doesn’t back down on their reporting and narrative crafting.
In your opinion what would appropriate reporting look like?
