I got got off the phone with Verizon, and they said the issue started on Aug 28 where some phones got a network update that limits their ability to connect to the towers. He's making a ticket with the network team to bridge from the tower to our iphone to push the network software update.
I guess many phones can't connect to get the update to fix their last bad configuration.
I hope it gets resolved soon.
my iphone 16 pro works, but wife's iphone 14 pro is "sos only" mode.
we tried the full reset (volume up/down/side button hold) and network reset, which is not helping.
Both my and her phone have same cellular data settings.
tried calling '611' verizon help line which dumps us saying "the system is down" unable to take calls.
it's a big outage for sure.

Has anyone used dark color 3D filament printed onto copper clad PCB as photo resist or etch resist?
It might be tricky printing PLA directly to copper clad PCB, but then you could expose the board to UV or etchant to make the PCB traces. Then remove the PLA plastic to expose the copper traces.

I would use a variable power supply, amp meter and some sacrificial fuses. Slowly turn up the voltage while watching amps on the circuit until it blows? Or simply apply the rated amps (with current controlled power supply) to verify if/when the fuse blows.
I have a multiple-fuse assortment kit that was a great (too good?) deal from AliExpress. Now I'm thinking I need to do some of those tests myself to verify their rating.
I used Eye-Fi for several years and enjoyed it. There was some opensource software to use it on a private LAN.
Searching 'wifi sdcard' and I found several vendors still making those cards, but I haven't used any of the newer ones.
This is a nice example of using ESP32 and Arduino.

The major differences that I can see:
- More flash/ram, now up to 32k / 3k
- This has two USART modules, not just one.
- This has no DAC module, it was removed
- The ADC is improved: was 10-bit 115 ksps, now 12-bit differential 375 ksps.
it says it's rated to 40 meters, which is good for most recreational diving. This would not apply for deeper dives.
I'm curious to see what they have for using it with diver communication and collaboration. If one diver sees something of interest, they can easily notify other divers. I'm not sure if or how well Bluetooth works underwater?
The haptic vibration would be useful to notify about reaching maximum bottom time, and for decompression rest stops while ascending.
But I think I would still keep my traditional dive computer next to pressure gauge in my diving setup.
I wonder if they will have a wireless pressure sensor on the tank so you can also track air pressure and consumption? That would be neat.
