I mean, I have to figure out which peanut butter to buy from a shelf of 37 peanut butters. If anything, there's too much choice in a lot of cases. It's tiring.
I've heard way more Android users disparaging iPhones than vice versa. If anything, the fault of iPhone users is not even knowing or caring anything else exists.
For example, if you do choose to use emacs, then you are missing out on time you could have spent learning vim.
What it does mean, though, is the person who sent the email now knows, at the minimum:
1. Someone receives and reads the email sent to this email address.
2. That person is willing to enter data into a form.
This is 2 pieces of information the person didn’t have before, and it can be used in further phishing attempts in a variety of ways.
It doesn’t mean you were fooled, but that’s only half the story.
If we're going to assume the Brave user just installed Brave and has 0 BAT, then let's be fair.
You had to spend a certain number of years on Earth to become old enough to have a credit rating and legal standing to get a credit card.
You had to obtain a credit card by filling out paperwork and being accepted by the company issuing the credit card.
You had to wait for the card to arrive in the mail.
You had to activate it the card.
I don't think it's fair to just skip over all those steps just because they're already done. Sure, for you, today, the card is probably easier. But by that token a guy with a horse in 1900 who already had a stable and a bunch of hay could say, "Why would anyone buy a car?"
And he'd be right, on that particular day, for him. But not for everyone, and not forever.

Turning off or modifying automated systems in any large device - buses, cars, airplanes, centrifuges, stadium roofs - would have potential for massive violence/destruction.
Search for anvil.works. I never actually used it but the demo looked pretty cool, and it seemed pretty affordable.
I have to disagree. I bought both a 2017 air and a 2017 mbp 13” to compare, and ended up returning the MBP. The screen on the MBP is far and away better, which made it a painful choice. On the other hand, the air was superior for the keyboard, and also for noise/heat, and of course several hundred dollars in price. The MBP didn’t really feel any faster for the type of work I was doing on it.
Most annoying was that the MBP fan was kicking on in high gear consistently when I was doing nothing of note, while the air very rarely does so. It’s always cool and quiet, which I love.
If they just threw a retina screen on it, the current Air could be a hell of a computer for several more years.

If an AI subscribes to the tribalism of its creators, then it could be the AI vs. everyone. That sounds (potentially) dangerous to me.

@kimmobru, would you happen to know how this would handle printing a multipage table to PDF? Specifically, I'm hoping for repeating headers per page, and not having any problems with rows printing half on one page, and half on the next page. I would love to replace a paid solution we use which handles this use cases with something based on headless chrome.

I heard on the news that 10,000 construction jobs would be created, so perhaps both are right - 10,000 temporary construction jobs, and 3,000 permanent/plant jobs.
I wonder if there would be room for a public key / dual encryption for the video produced that both the doctor and the patient would need to sign off on to view the video, or something like that, to add some kind of viewing trail/authentication/authorization.
I mean, who's to say any given doctor's office doesn't have a hidden camera/microphone somewhere anyway.
I am one of the dozens. If only I was able to locate a history-related technology job. It seems like you need to be in Washington DC to find anything like that.

I think it's mostly because getting it wrong is a Pretty Big Deal, so people aren't sure if they can trust themselves and the scheme they came up with.
