Almost certainly. GPS is not only easily jammed, but easily spoofed. If the car believed GPS instead of its own eyes, so to speak, then there’s significant potential that you’d see glitches more often. It could also be something of a safety risk when using its self-driving capabilities.

Computers have been making decisions for a while now. As a specific personal example from 2008, I found out that my lender would make home loan offers based on an inscrutable (to me and the banker I was speaking to) heuristic. If the loan was denied by the heuristic, then a human could review the decision, but had strict criteria that they would have to follow. Basically, a computer could “exercise judgement” a make offers that a human could not.
Energy is how much work you can do. Power is how fast you can do it. When you express these in terms of densities, it’s how much energy a certain quantity of material can store, and how quickly that energy can be released from a certain quantity of material.
If you short out a AA battery, it will get warm for a little while. If you short out a 14500 Li-ion battery (which is the same size and comparable energy density), you might get a small explosion as it dumps its energy very quickly.
What’s your use case for locking dependencies on a single script?
One things that’s useful to my organization is that we can then proceed to scan the lockfile’s declared dependencies with, e.g., `trivy fs uv.lock` to make sure we’re not running code with known CVEs.

As it stands, I’d imagine it takes a very particular sort of search query (either “open source fitness” in Google or “fitness” on GitHub) to have a chance at finding this. Unless your target audience is only the intersection of FOSS-advocates and fitness folks, you might be limiting adoption.

I don’t think it requires conspiratorial thinking to believe that seed oils are less healthful than more traditional sources of cooking oils / fats (for one reason or another). Phyphox is a great sensor suite app for undergrad Physics experiments, and it includes a spectrum analyzer. Also, it supports both iOS and Android.
Coriolis corrections are thrown into sniper ballistic calculations, too. Not a huge effect in most conditions, but not zero, and there have been a lot of long shots in the past two decades.
You can do all of these things in software, and it is done. It’s important thing to have control over the process so you can get quantitative data at the other end, and not just a pretty picture. Also, noise should not be discounted as a very good reason to use lower megapixel sensors. If you want a pretty picture, by all means use a cellphone, but you can’t reality use or trust the result for many scientific purposes.
The “more to this story” is likely endocrine disruptors in addition to (and associated with) the other “behavior” issues you’re alluding to.

What you’ve suggested is not equivalent. The a is always taken without negation, and that’s not the case in your rendering.
The best theatrical release since the original trilogy, IMO. I think part of it is because of how much gravity it imparts to the beginning of Episode IV. (And the other part is how objectively bad the prequel and sequel trilogies were.)

I think you’re underestimating the myriad biological pathways which can all contribute to cancer, and also the unusual chemistry that can be induced when you tickle molecules at the right vibrational modes. There’s a whole body of literature describing so-called “microwave chemistry”, and these methods can greatly accelerate certain reactions – far more than simple heating with the same amount of energy can do.
With that said, I still put my cellphone in the front pocket every day, for most of the day.
Any water you drink is already very much hypotonic relative to your bodily fluids. Your minerals mostly come from your food, not your water.
I’m no expert on biology (I’m a chemist), but I drank quite a bit of DI water in grad school because the tap water was so gross.
Also, heavy water (D2O) tastes sweet. And it also won’t kill you when consumed, contrary to urban legend (at least not in quantities you can reasonably afford).

It’s been a white since I used it, though. I use CAD pretty infrequently these days, though, and generally just let the mechanical engineers do it (or maybe do it myself in FreeCAD).
