It didn't. Specially not the Christian church. The Christian bible was the basis for the christian religion. It was written before the religion existed. And it already mentions married people.
We have evidence of marriage going back to the 2300's BC. And it probably existed before that, we just didn't find the evidence yet.
I think they BUY mobile apps.
Their modus operandi seems to be:
1) Buy successful mobile app.
2) Increase the prices to insane amounts.
3) Profit off of the people still using the overpriced app.
4) Use the profits to buy another mobile app.
They probably intend to keep the app running. And nothing else.
Evernote had subscription since the beginning
Not only decent, Evernote was great before they ditched their native apps.
4. If you're going to do the rewrite, don't take many years working on it, just to release a broken product missing lots of core features.

Most EVERNOTE users wanted it? I sincerely doubt that even 20% of Evernote users want that.
People that want a collaborative Docs app already have Google Docs. Evernote is mostly a "digital cabinet". It's where notes and documents go to die (in a good way).
I think number 1 could be done, but not like Evernote did.
It's been what? 3 years since they released their javascript app, and they still didn't rewrite some important old features. Just last week we got back the option to start writing a note in the title instead of the body.

I could write an entire Evernote competitor from scratch in 3 years, as a single developer (as a javascript app, not as multiple native apps).
And they STILL don't have reliable note-synching.
It took them too long, and their app is too crappy. But a GOOD rewrite would have worked just fine.
And it used to be so good. Not being ironic. For example, coca-cola patented their formula. It didn't prevent other companies from making their own "colas", like Pepsi. They just couldn't make it using the exact coca-cola formula. Which is fair, I'd say. You have to create your own way to achieve that result.
The equivalent in software should be "you can replicate the idea, but not the code behind it". But somehow that became "you can't replicate the idea at all", which is super broken.
Kids at young age are more a thing than a person, so it kind of fits.
Good for them.
I wish other governments did the same. We could all work together to get rid of this disease, but this will never happen if we let people that refuse medicine to walk freely contaminating others.

I read the title and thought "What is an RE?" not because I don't know what reverse engineering is, but because multiple things are called RE in this world. Including Resident Evil. How would I know.

Maybe this is article is only comparing daily meditation to the US version of a vacation? A week shouldn't even be called vacation.
I find it hard to believe that something as ineffective as meditation could be more beneficial than the 4 weeks to a month of vacation that you have in civilized countries.
There's the problem that money is an incentive. So if you pay to review takedowns, it is an incentive for Google to do EVEN MORE takedowns, because then they would earn more money.
When it's a product launch, I believe it's perfectly fine to criticize it.
Basic mistakes like that make it look like unreliable amateur work.
If you can't find anyone to help you proofread, pay someone. And I'm from a third world country, I know paying people might be expensive. But in the case of some basic copy like that, a $5 proofreader from Fiverr would be enough.
Now that the elections are gone, there's no reason to keep him locked up anymore. It was just to remove the candidate most likely to win, instead of facing him in a fair election. Now it's easier to just let him go.
In 2022 there's probably new ways to prevent him from participating again.
The user you're replying to said "other camera app". They meant apps, not a full sized camera.

It's a first-world thing of treating poor people as a zoo that you can just go and watch how the "animals" live.

Apple is talking about what their own products do. Their cameras, their apps, their devices.
They can't 100% guarantee that third-party apps won't spy on you, and they don't even promise to do it.
You might want to bash Apple for something they haven't promised and is probably not even possible. But that's on you, just baseless bashing.
When you say it does work, do you mean it work well?
Because there might be a very good discussion, but the latest comments could be "my peepee is very big" and "no, your peepee is small!". And the good discussion would be overshadowed by garbage comments.
When there are hundreds or thousand of people talking, I do believe popularity is better than recency.
