I love advent of code, and I look forward to it every year!

I've never stressed out about the leaderboard. Ive always taken it as an opportunity to learn a new language, or brush up on my skills.

In my day-to-day job, I rarely need to bootstrap a project from scratch, implement a depth first search of a graph, or experiment with new language features.

It's for reasons like these that I look forward to this every year. For me it's a great chance to sharpen the tools in my toolbox.

The article's title unfortunately makes it sound like this is a problem unique to Framework laptops.

However, they do mention in the article that "this situation is not unique to Framework"

I really admire what Framework has been trying to build. Glad that they were able to fix this issue promptly!

Yeah, this happened to us in Canada. Booked a place (in Canada z with a Canadian billing address), then had to cancel, and realized too late that we had been charged in USD for the initial booking, so ended up losing a few hundred on the fx delta and fees by the time the refund came through.

I love that the site isn't using HTTPS.
