Yeah, and maybe also suggest slightly better alternatives to things along the way. Like, they could tell people that POWERADE has B vitamins in addition to electrolytes unlike that other leading sports drink, but only a gentle nudge. You would definitely want it to be subtle. The most impactful choices are the ones the target think are their own rather than something slammed in their face over and over again.

And at some point they'll just use slave labor in some country with lax laws around all that.

I'm not sure if I'm talking about the scrapers or Cloudflare at this point. Probably both. Probably the same pool of forced laborers.

You also screwed up by using Firefox. That's the #1 method Google uses to prove someone is a bot. If you are't participating in the Google panopticon, you are suspect.

I can 1000% guarantee this will adversely impact assistive technology. You can tell it will because they don't mention any testing with regards to assistive technology.

Yeah, these days if you aren't treating even the smallest of small projects that do something like "query database spit out report" as if they are major IT infrstructure projects, complete with designers, UX specialists, and accessbility experts that never talked to a disabled person to find out what they actually need, spin up 375 ec2 instances, use 19 different database systems, and send the logs to a third party, then you're literally the worst person possible, or so I've been told.

It's like, my dude last week this was an excel spreadsheet.

Can someone distill this down to how it will be used by the big three email providers to make it impossible to use email except through them?

And yet stupid amounts of money are spent collecting detailed dossiers on every person that touches the internet so that... I'm guessing someone's probably trying to sell mattresses or something... because that's always that weird last question in every marketing/advertising survey I've ever seen... do you plan on buying a mattress within the next six months?

What's the development cycle of a major game? If someone worked on multiple games from start to finish for a studio, how many games would they have completed in a ten year span? Do game studios allow developers to talk about anything and eveyrthing they're working on in public or do they have them work under non-disclosure agreements?
