Is it possible that studying Nobel Laureates skews these numbers? It would be extremely difficult to receive a Nobel for an achievement late in life because of the usual lag time between the achievement and the award and the fact that Nobel prizes are not awarded posthumously.

I have had the 50 inch version for about six weeks. For programming and office work, I love it. It's basically the same as having 4 24" 1080p monitors put together- just without the bezels. I was worried that the 30hz refresh rate would really bother me, but it's not really noticeable. I'm not sure I'd want to play games on it though.
