Calls to mind a long forgotten, and perhaps one of the most useful bash scripts I've written which addressed this issue in a very rudimentary way; Curl a url, hash the result to file, compare the current hash to the saved hash from the previous run and generate an email on diff.

I've used it with an HDMI/usb-c cable from my desktop and it works just as well, though attempting to switch between virtual and real displays through the glasses is headache-inducing at best.

Likewise, but Nature shows up weekly. I react to most of the research papers like a dog who's been shown a card trick, but the front half of the book is always interesting and up to the minute.

Am I incorrect in assuming that any study not submitted for peer review is questionable at best and bad science at worst?
