Been using the Advantage for decades. Splitting the two sides is a terrific idea. Always wanted to mount a split keyboard to the sides of a zero-gravity chair so will try it out with this.

The first job is the hardest, nothing to be ashamed about. Maybe start by observing what skills are in high demand in your area and fill that need. I started by taking lots of small contracts that were 'beneath' my skills like html websites, simple javascript apps, etc. Not proud but even took a $300 contract to do someones homework, lol. I thought where you were going with this is that since smartphones are so ubiquitous any sort of AR system should utilize the phone for its primary processing. A headset is needed though for AR, it just has to be much smaller and lighter before they become mainstream.

Back then it was harder to share your own content, either by learning HTML or hosting your own server and no real monetary rewards for doing so, and no social status indicators except for maybe 'hit counters'. Because of this it was passion for the topic that motivated people to share with far less focus on how it looked or the way it was presented.

Now with advertising, upvoting and platform biases people are more judgemental while reading others work. The motivation to create traffic and increase social outreach changed the nature of sharing itself.

I pre-paid for 3 years of service but 1 year in they sent notification that the server farm would moved and I had 30 days to relocate my servers. Was pretty busy at the time so was an inconvenience to move everything, but I did.

Then I get the next months invoice and it's not using my pre-paid services but instead is billing for full CPU usage - no reserved instances.

After emailing support several times they say it's my own fault for not using the correct instance type, even though it's identical to the one I pre-paid for. It may well be my error but it was caused by them since I never asked for my servers to be moved. It's been an expensive and time-wasting experience -- will never use them again.
