It's the not Armed Forces to make sure it's diverse in the terms you're talking about. The first thing they do in boot camp is breakdown the individual and create a team player. It doesn't matter what color you are, where you are from, you are all on the same team. Your life literally depends on the person next you. If you remove the colorblind meritocracy that military should be you are putting everyone's lives in danger. Diversity in the antithesis of what a sound fighting force is looking for.

Trump was removed from all forms of social media, but tell us how you hate conservatives and their empty rhetoric. Guess that also means that the Trump administration was in close contact with the tech companies to ensure they banned him.
Not true. I've known this phenomenon by its name for well over a year. Not sure the origin. Yes, it's nonsense. But plenty of people use here in the Bay Area. This wasn't made up just for this article.
Also, the word is nonsense just the practice. Pay attention to what and who is in front of you. Eyes up, please.
Maybe spend those millions on lobbying state and local governments to address the reasons this has become a problem in the first place. Also, all either does is make the products we have to purchase that much more expensive since, you know, the retailers are passing those expenses to customers.
All good points, but the main issue here is the government, in this case the CCP, dictating game play. It's the parent's responsibility to dictate when and how their children play games not the government.
If the government wants to go after game developers because their games are addictive that's one thing. Dictating to the players is a level of control free citizens should never experience. Although, in this case, citizens of China are hardly free in the first place.
Well, when they start finding crimes to fit the man it doesn't matter, does it? And make no mistake that's what's happening.
What Dave does with his money is none of your concern. But since he put it out in the public, you are certainly entitled to your opinion.
You see, that's the point of not telling anyone. Everyone has an opinion and once they know a little something about anything they want to share it. Most of those opinions are how to separate Dave from his money. Nobody needs that in their lives. Not Dave. Not anyone. He was right to keep quite and it looks like he had good reason to keep it quite in the first place. How you feel about finding a middle ground is the problem Dave was looking to avoid. See my first sentence.
You mean like this?
Xi thanks you
Do you believe the magic of Penn and Teller is actually magic?
Is this even a problem anymore? Market St has been closed to cars for over a year. The city's population has decreased significantly. Most companies are still in work from home mode. Why is this even a thing? Do they need the money to pay for those $20k trash cans?
guess we're not going to talk about the effect of e-commerce? it's nothing but hot takes about property owners around here.
it costs less money to have an online store than a brick and mortar. the pandemic has brought about a permanent work from home mentality, leaving office space vacant. people make more from the gov't than working in retail or hospitality - businesses are going out of business at the highest rates we've ever seen as a country.
but it's the landlords.
This is the problem, isn't it? You seem to be posting an easy question to answer. But it's not, is it? Who is Google to judge what anyone would "consider violent or garbage?"
I don't remember electing them to control this aspect of life. And where does it stop? What is the line? Who is actually defining these things?
When a small group of people control the definition of "wrong think" then we're gonna have a problem regardless of which side of the argument those people are on.
While your question is innocent enough, I get the feeling you already knew the answer.
sure, but there aren't finite drones. not sure you've ever seen CIWS in action, but it would put down the drones with dispatch.
Digital goods prices won't increase due to demand necessarily. Those prices will rise because electricity, rent, and all the other overhead line items increase. Those increases get passed to the customer, who is going to be hit with increased prices for the necessities of life - food, water, housing.
Digital goods do nothing to support human life - food, water, housing. Sure you can buy things online, but you can buy those things at brick and mortar stores. In turn, gas prices will rise to the point where delivery services become unviable.
Inflation touches the entire chain whether the product is digital or otherwise.
Why are you singling out Christianity? The same could be said for any of the book based religions.
Point to the sanction that let him drone strike US citizens
Spot on
it doesn't take an MBA to do that work
Absolutely right. I stick to niche subreddits that cover my hobbies and lifestyle. Great people. Great content.
All of the large subreddits are hot garbage. It's like Twitter intensified.
Compare it to what? People are going to people. Just because your continent doesn't have the same gun laws as the US doesn't mean there's any less crime - gun related or otherwise. There are quite a few Europeans that wish they had guns so they weren't stabbed, dashed with acid, or beheaded.
Censorship is now "sensible."
MSM is a "loaded term."
What? MSM is anything but loaded. It's a description of the largest media platforms and that includes outlets like Fox News. And none of them provide "neutral analysis" hence the critiques.
Everything you said is wrong, imo. You're advocating censorship and labeling people you don't agree with. You might as well get a job in the MSM.
This doesn't address the bigger problem that is AB5, which never should have been passed in the first place. How many more carve outs do we need before AB5 is basically gutted? How many more millions of dollars need to be spent to overturn this tyrannical law? Seems like that money could be put to better use. We don't need government controlling our freedom to work when and how we desire.
because cloud services for broadcast tv are none of those things.
You realize what has happened in the last four years, right? Four peace accords in the Middle East. ISIS has been destroyed. The US has basically pulled out of Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. The Kurds and Turks aren't killing each other any longer. AND the US hasn't started another war - something that hasn't happened in decades as in going back to WWII.
Doesn't matter if the story reeks or not. This is about censorship and even application of "community standards."
Twitter has never once censored any of smears or leaks against the Trump campaign.
Also, your criteria for this story to reek shows your bias. It's not like Joe Biden himself bragged about getting the Ukrainian prosecutor fired with the threat of holding back a billion dollars. It's on video, just Google it. And Hunter Biden is an admitted drug addict. So nothing that has been exposed from that laptop reeks too much.
You want to say Hunter was set up? Okay, I'll go down that rabbit hole, but to say this is all false? Well, again, your bias is showing.
"As for the Uighur & Tibetan situation, this is starting to look like it's going to be just one of those very unfortunate facts of life...
Ethnic cleansing with helping of re-education camps and forced labor are just "unfortunate facts of life." Just give them 20-100 years and nobody will remember anyway...
Well, that's certainly a take on how things are going there.
Rising tides can't life boats filled with dead and forgotten people, but sure, citizens who follow the strict and draconian credit system are stacking bank, amirite?
Trump's administration? The same Trump that's floated a pardon? Most of the people in "Trump's administration" weren't appointed by Trump. He's the only POTUS to not be allow recess appointments and there around 130 positions he's been trying fill for 3.5 years - a record for any POTUS.
In California we have droughts. We also have really poor water management. Lack of storage and dams. Then there's the delta smelt issue. They basically created a dustbowl in many locations because of their very poor resource management, which isn't contained to water. Hello rolling blackouts.
Funny hitch - they don't require batteries. When the grid goes down you're left without power because your solar system isn't storing locally. Of course, you can add your own battery array, but many people didn't/haven't and have suffered through these blackouts like everyone else connected to the grid.
