I've used Opera for about ten years and have never wanted to switch. If Facebook bought it, though, I would drop it instantly. No guilt, either!

I completely agree. Learning to program myself, and pushing beyond the initial jargon barrier is painful. I keep looking for practical tutorials, but they don't really seem to exist. I want purposeful, hands-on learning. Without that in the beginning, there's nothing to attach the theory/knowledge to and it falls out the other ear. Show me what these things do and my brain will want to do it!
