Flashing back to the stock rom/kernel in Samsung phones takes about 10 minutes with a tool called odin.

I'll definitely pick one up once it runs CyanogenMod. My NookColor has quickly become my bedside tablet of choice.

I got 2 years of use with my 3G. Bought it in 2008 and after iOS 4.0.1 (2010) it was an unusable, laggy mess. I searched high and low for an answer but there really wasn't one other than "downgrade, but Apple isn't cool with that". I ran into the abandoned issue with my Captivate, but it was relatively easy to flash a custom ROM based off ASOP Gingerbread: download ROM Manager from the market, download a rom, and flash.

In other news, FB's chat system remains a blight.

I'm not sure why everyone keeps saying that Honeycomb tablets aren't there yet. Where are they supposed to be? I've owned a Xoom WiFi for a while now and it has quickly replaced my laptop as my "just surfing the net" tool. I still switch to type out e-mails, but my Xoom is always what I reach for when I'm sitting on the sofa and want to google something real quick.

Not sure what I would do without NoLED, it is one of the best apps I've ever used on my SGS.

Just got back from Austin City Limits and even SMS was suffering the entire time. I never got data, not once.
