How will companies like Uber continue to fund the “research” when the budget ends up burning 3x faster than predicted without being able to observe measurable gains?

I tried something similar a few months ago that acts more as a library to ratatui than a separate terminal emulator [0].

Was surprised how far one can get using some off the shelf characters like half-block when rasterizing.

The Glyph protocol mentioned in the blog post is interesting … perhaps custom glyphs could help smooth some of the (literal) rough edges from the low effective resolution of a terminals character grid.

If Apple Enterprise Cloud was available today who is switching and why?

Not sure about others, but I would switch if it meant I no longer needed to rely on Google Workspace.

As a longtime Typescript user working more recently in Rust, I appreciate the syntax and overall language design.

Like others in the comments, I’m wondering where this fits into the existing ecosystem. What kinds of problems does Lumina solve especially well vs. Typescript, or a WASM-compatible language?
