Do not think that it's true you won't be able to see. There is at least one case where someone was blind from birth due to birthdefect, fixed later in life via surgery. Sure took him time to get used to everything or connect the image he is seeing with the object he knew by word and have felt.

Everyone makes mistakes, you can either help them not make these mistakes or do nothing and blame it on the users.

The problem that I had AWS was that it felt hella confusing, flooding you with information about services they provide and their AWS-specific buzzwords, sort of drowning out a lot of the important info

I'm guessing this is an average rather than absolute amount every day, and I also don't quite think it's possible to 'force' yourself to be more productive, as being productive is both about how fast you think, how fast you type and how fast you come up with solutions to a problem.

No matter how much you force yourself you can't just force yourself not to feel exhausted/restless/depressed or whatever else is effecting your productivity, you sure can alleviate these symptoms, but that's improving your well-being generally rather than forcing yourself to be productive.

So it sort of depends what you mean by force, I'm guessing it would just cause you more stress and make you eventually burn out because you're not in reality becoming more productive by focusing more, you're only stressing yourself out further.

By reporting progress, daily targets should not be a certain tangible goal necessarily, rather than that some progress has been done and reported. This isn't perfect of course but I think it's possible to evaluate whether or not the tasks/progress someone has made reflects a days work.

I've had plenty of these situations aswell, and now a days I don't even bother if the process setting something up is too painful. That is why I highly enjoy writing scripting languages so much, because they are generally just out of the box ready to run after a small install. No extra thought required to begin developing.
