I'm quite surprised at this to be honest. I saw Patrick outside the Old Vic in London last year when he attended the Theatre Awards, and he looked very frail. Maybe it was a temporary thing that has now got better, but didn't expect to see him in another big movie.
The problem I find is that when these alternative services see how many people are leaving Google Maps and switching to them, those companies will then raise their prices to "remain competitive".
Business is business and if they can see an opportunity to make more revenue, they'll do it, whether it be Google or anyone else. It's just a matter of time.

100% agree with this post. I get these spam messages all the time and the worst part is it generates a push notification on my mobile. I see the fix to turn it off, but I rely on the functionality of events being added from my other genuine contacts in my Gmail. It should totally be from contacts on your contact list only.

What arbie said. Todoist is great for a Todo/task management software, and I use Trello more in a business environment to visually see an overview of current projects and track next steps.
100% this. Break down the tasks into smaller and smaller chunks, use an app like Todoist to track it. So create a project for each major task, and have all the todo's inside that project. You'll feel achievement as you complete each small task, and within no time you'll find you have completed the project, AKA, one big task.
yes - look at LinkedIn people who used to work at Google and where they work now. Try 100+ samples.
This feature was the main contributor to our 80% traffic loss when I was running a news aggregator, we had so much Image traffic. Now they remove it 5 years later. I welcome the change. Too late for me though.

I have reviewed 100+ Amazon products and go in-depth whenever I can, and always provide value by providing hands on experience of using the products where I think it will help other people looking to buy that product.
You mean they didn't look at the stats and see how low the average pledge is, and the many, many users who pledge $1-2?
Whilst it's a nicely worded apology, they F'd up being greedy, and are now trying to recover by maintaining that closeness with the users. I'm not buying it.
Also from an SEO perspective, they could have bumped their domain authority even further by using the same domain - they now need to grow this new domain from square 1, and it's going to be hard, even for a large company like Github.
