If I remember correctly, this Lufthansa flight usually arrives during the day, when the company permits visual approaches, but had a delayed departure, which is what let to their policy prohibiting visual approaches and the bad timing with the huge chain of other arrivals.

Thanks so much for building it! My non gaming use case is scientific research, processing massive images and 3D renders coming off microscopes. You need high image quality, low latency, and often accelerated graphics, which VNC etc al are maximally bad at, but sunshine/moonlight let me run the GUI tools I need on a high performance cluster and access it from my laptop.

Makes me wonder if there would be a way to pollute imagenet so a particular image would always match for something like a facial recognition access control system or the like. Maybe adversarial data that would hide particular traffic patterns from an AI enabled IDS would be more plausible and something the NSA might be interested in.

I'm assuming it's a typo but "collage degree" is great as either a baseline inapplicable bachelor's for a tech job or a cynical view of the value a high school diploma.

If the price is under $70 for 25G, I'd imagine most people pay half that for less bandwidth, but the 25G works for a number of people who need or want it, plus is great marketing. Also selling 25G that's underutilized is probably substantially cheaper.

Also much easier to ski or hike on the weekend if it's right next door rather than a four hour drive (looking at you I80). Add in potentially having kids growing up around nature and even working standard hours M-F can make the work remote from your preferred environment much more worth it.

I grew up in a mountain town, and the mountain started doing 8 am openings for season pass holders. Some colleagues and I would hit the slopes, ski for an hour, and be in the office at 930. My actual productivity after that kind of fresh air and exercise every morning was much higher.

And does your browser have settings which bypass or supplement the host's DNS configuration. Secure DNS (DoH etc) is great, but damn that's confusing when you first run across it. Not to mention how phones do it; you can't override a DoH DNS server when connecting to a VPN which offers internal DNS on Android, for instance.

And as you point out, the problem with biometrics is that once they're stolen or copied, there's no changing them. Particularly your DNA.

University conference, catering, and AV rates can also be pretty ridiculous, even at the internal / dept sponsored prices. They can have similar terms to hotels (ie, you have to use our tech people, our approved caterers, etc)
