Totally agree. I think the debt is at 100k per taxpayer. Either taxes or inflation will have to be used to pay that.

I like that the focus is on the issues with the disruptors that have been running for a few weeks, not the egregious spending for decades.

Excellent example. Is it possible for a convicted criminal to game compassion to be moved from a men’s to women’s prison. Would anyone lie in that situation? There is probably a whole lot more people to take advantage of if your a convicted predator in a woman’s prison.

There were women's spaces (bathrooms / changing rooms) for example that kept women safe from predatory men.

Who should be allowed in those? Is it defined by the clothes?

If a predatory man / bad actor decides to put on those clothes to abuse the system, then what? What if the predatory man / bad actor decides to hang just below the bar of illegality, and creep on women long term?

Add to that the fact that 30% of physics and chemistry can't be replicated.

Science is not an unbiased and altruistic endeavor these days.

It's not surprising the sugar industry funded science demonizing fat, cigarette companies "proved" that they didn't cause cancer, etc

Putting 100% faith and trust in a "corporate funded vaccine trials" is something I would suggest against given the potential monetary gains from those conducting it.

30 % of physics and chemistry can’t be replicated. 70 % of soft science can’t be replicated. Most of what we know about sociology may just be fake, and given that a huge foundation of progressive thought around rase, sex, and gender is based on this, this is a big problem.

We have decided we are a post-truth society. Turns out solving that problem is non-trivial when we rely on experts that are themselves human who view the world as post-truth.

Have you heard people seriously discuss what would be required to have men catch to women and be 50% of college graduates?

If the situation were reversed, would there be advocates for increasing the graduation of women to 50%

I mean, modifying a bat virus to be more infectious to human and then doing so in a lab that only requires masks not full body suits. How many millions died, how many suffered, what did we lose?

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know that is a terrible idea. “Sticking our head in the sand” appears to not fit this use case very well

There are men at the top. What is the demographic at the bottom (garbage workers, manual workers, farm labor). Which sex goes to prison more, commits more suicides, dies in war, and loses custody battles the vast majority of the time?

Have you heard of the term toxic masculinity, weaponized incompetence, patriarchal, misogyny used? Are women discussed the same way? Are women ever misandrist?

Honestly, part of the reason trump is relevant is because the left hates him. He is constantly one the news for seemingly no reason. One way to distract from a recession or bad policy is constantly reminding people of there hatred for the other side.

Also, there is absolutely manipulation on both sides. Look at news headlines about a transgender individual shooting at a Christian school that targeted the pastor. Notice if transgender or Christian is in the news title. If it was a white Christian male shooting a black school, would the identity of the shooter or school be important to put in the title.

We are a bit of a mess in the US, but it’s messy everywhere. Despite the mess, it’s honestly one of the better places to live if you don’t enrage yourself on the news cycle.

So why do the parties split the vote 51 / 49 over and over and flip every 8 years if 90% think the same as one party?

And plenty have been so confident of their political position, that instead of trying to find if there is any truth in their opponents arguments, they instead vilify / demonize them so they don’t need to do the harder internal work of seriously challenging and perhaps refining their otherwise flawless world view.
