I should have emphasized the machine is like a dream right now - without the Lenovo cruft that is usually installed. Runs like a charm - where as the base Lenovo install was slow - i mean really slow. and this is an i7 16gb machine.

This seems to install a pretty 'good' win10 version: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10s...
I had a Lenovo S500 dektop that I just reinstalled. Non-SSd. I was getting a '100% disk usage' issue right of the bat. I installed 'windows10startfresh' and now it's pretty sweet - pc is not slow, and such. The 'windows10startfresh' installs windows without all the lenovo crud apparently.
Thats interesting. I always thought bed & breakfast was a British "invention". The b&b's (in Scotland) I've stayed at have always been a pleasure, complete with toast and jam. Edit: sorry - didn't read your last paragraph about about b&b. But I would've thought b&b would be in the same market as airbnb?
$14 might include the tooling chain - unless I read the article wrong. Even if it doesn't the injection molding, etc in China will be nothing after the first few thousand units and even less after millions of units shipped.
Similar to Psycology by Dr. Phil - it's not for everyone but there is a market.

We just noticed this today as the calendar control in our app suddenly became extremely slow after a postback. Using library code, which makes it a bit harder to fix.
